Waterfront explosion suspect Darin Vitolo requested a Marsden hearing which took place on March 26. The motion was denied.
His jury trial had been scheduled for April 5 and had been confirmed prior to his Mardsen request and that date remains set.
Vitolo has five cases, including the 2021 case, his most recent arrest. His previous cases include violation of probation. Deputy Public Defender David Celli is Vitolo's attorney.
As I pointed out in previous coverage, Vitolo did not listen to his attorney's suggestion prior to his preliminary hearing. His attorney is not the problem.
