Livestream was on today for the Michael Flowers jury trial and they are picking jurors. The Jeff Tsarnas trial is in quarantine and for how long will be determined Monday. So as of today, there are no courtrooms to assign out any trials.
Since Mr. Clanton is currently in trial, the Darius Upshaw trial was rescheduled for trial assignment on March 26.
At trial assignment today, Judge Kaleb Cockrum is taking pleas, Judge Timothy Canning and Retired Judge John Feeney are available this morning and at least one Judge for the afternoon to meet with attorneys to resolve cases set for trial this Monday.
While attorneys in the Timothy Ziegler case are scheduled for intervention this afternoon; this is his final day so motion to dismiss is scheduled for March 22 before Presiding Judge Joyce Hinrichs.
Other motions to dismiss are being set before Judge Hinrichs next week. More cases will resolve now that could have gone to trial. More continuances and dates being reset.
This will not be the only motion to dismiss and I am not going to cover every case or motion to dismiss in detail.
