Eric Douglas Harmon was arrested yesterday by HCSO and booked for alleged violation of
VC14601.1(a), CP1209, VC14601.1(a),VC14601.1(a), VC2800.2
There has been no press release or information released yet by law enforcement.
Operation Safe Streets posted some information from scanner traffic about the high speed pursuit but there was no name of the suspect.
According to a thread on Humboldt County on Alert, Harmon is the guy who was driving the motorcycle involved in a high speed pursuit from McKinleyville to Eureka early yesterday morning. A comment refers to the passenger.
Operation Safe Streets and Humboldt County Alert are not "news". As for what the white substance was, we will find out when and if that information is released from law enforcement.
