As indicated at the last hearing, the defense filed a motion to continue murder suspect Ulisses Rodriguez's jury trial. Today, Judge Lawrence Killoran granted that motion over Rodriguez's objection. The March 11 date was vacated.
Time is currently not waived. A hearing to address the status of time waiver is scheduled for April 4. Setting of jury trial is scheduled for April 18.
Rodriguez is charged with deaths of Tiffany Ellebrecht and Jeremy Kuemmel.
