J.D. Grow sentenced to 5 years probation and 180 days in jail
Sentencing for J.D. Grow was scheduled this morning. Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer asked for 6 years, 8 months in prison.
Grow was sentenced by Judge Wilson to 5 years probation and 180 days in jail. He cannot the time on SWAP and has to register as a sex offender.
A hearing is scheduled on April 23 for a PPR report. This is because is Grow not allowed to possess any firearms. Grow has to commit to jail on July 6.
On January 16, Grow pleaded guilty to Count 1 and Count 2. Counts 3, 4 and 5 were dismissed with a Harvey reservation. Grow was charged with Count 1 PC 288 (c) 1. Lewd act upon a child.
Counts 2-5 PC 30600 (a) Manufacture/Assault Weapon
The victim's mother addressed the court. Ms. Schaffer read a letter from the victim.

So no drug counseling, testing ? Slap on the wrist..... He'll be back 14 months tops.

ReplyDeleteKapon, if you are convicted of certain offenses, you have to file out a prohibited person's relinquishment form and verify that you do not have any firearms registered to you and that you don't own or possess any firearms or ammunition.
