Soroptimist International of Humboldt Bay is hosting our annual fundraiser HIGH HEELS FOR HEALING to be held April 3, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Adorni Center in Eureka.
Based on the old saying "You can't really understand another person's experience until you have walked in their shoes," this lighthearted event increases awareness of women's issues by featuring prominent local men strolling in women's shoes to the beat of our wonderful DJ, prompted by our emcee J.B. Mathers to the delight and squeals of the audience. An event you don’t want to miss.
The funds raised from this event help to support our club's donations to our local community. Over the past six years, we have raised and donated over $113,000 to benefit women and girls in our community. Also, with Soroptimist International of Americas, we have been able to make contributions toward scholarships for women and girls needs on a global level.
