Marci Kitchen's motion to travel to Oregon denied by Judge Graham Cribbs

Marci Kitchen was back in court this morning before Judge Graham Cribbs. The defense filed a motion to request permission to travel. This time because she wanted to visit her "boyfriend" Josh Pearlston's sister who is not well.

After hearing from both attorneys, Judge Graham Cribbs denied Marci Kitchen's request. "Motion denied."

"The relationship between Ms. Kitchen and the person who is not obviously well is not close enough. The court is not willing to risk her leaving this jurisdiction."

The People did not even have all documents. They got to see some documents before court briefly this morning.

Had it been Judge Christopher Wilson, I am sure this motion would have been granted. Thank God for Visiting Judges. Maybe Humboldt County Superior Court Judges could develop a backbone and stand up for victims for once.

Kitchen was accompanied by her attorney Ms. Meagan O' Connell and two people. Joe Kitchen was not in court but his attorney Zach Zwerdling was in court.

There were some courtroom supporters.
Faith Tsarnas' family included a few people including her uncle Chris Marchi and her aunt Carolyn Marchi.

Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads is prosecuting this case. Ms. Meagan O'Connell, Supervising Attorney for Conflict Counsel, was appointed to represent Kitchen on March 6. This was after Kitchen's two private attorneys withdrew from the case citing that Kitchen did not have funds to retain them for the jury trial.

  2. So Marci Kitchen can't afford to pay for legal representation, but she can afford to go traveling out of state.. I am so glad that the visiting Judge, denied her request for out-of-state travel!

Now if only I would get called for Jury Duty on this case, I would happily serve for however long the trial would last!

Marci wants to visit her boyfriend's grandma again. They've bonded so off to Oregon again?

She is predictable and evil. Shackle her to the pine tree where her daughter died in the grass after she hit her!!
