Court clerk John Beideman's jury trial set for April 23


Court clerk John Beideman is charged with 8 counts and was arraigned on information this morning. Time was not waived. Trial confirmation is in on April 5. Jury tdial scheduled for April 23.



The alleged victim, Jane Doe, was Beideman's step daughter at the time of the alleged sexual abuse. Jane Doe's mother and current stepfather were present in court.

He was held to answer to six counts after his preliminary hearing. For the jury trial, two additional counts of oral copulation/sexual penetration of a child under 10.

Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads is prosecuting the case. Mr. Russ Clanton represents Beideman. Mr. David Celli appeared in court today for Mr. Clanton.
