Smart of Heiwa Izakaya Inc and Lily Tan applied for a liquor license. Even if they receive it by the time construction is complete, will the City of Eureka delay another restaurant and business opening? I am still waiting for Bella Italia to open. California and Humboldt make it onerous to do business.
Of course, in Humboldt, what gets approved and how fast all depends on who you know and stroking egos.
