Enrique SalinasMartinez was arrested by Eureka Police Department yesterday evening for a warrant in a 2014 case and booked for PC 288(c)(1) on a minor the age of fourteen or fifteen and PC 243.4(a) sexual battery.
I looked up the case number from the jail log in the Humboldt Superior Court system. It says bail of $150,000 not posted since 2014. There is no arraignment date and no warrant listed in the system.
The DA filed the complaint 6/16/14.The declaration for the arrest warrant was filed 6/19/14. It was filed by the HCSO today on 8/31/26. After my post, arraignment is scheduled for this afternoon. The warrant was also filed today.
Salinas Martinez has a 2008 conviction in a Humboldt traffic case.
Humboldt Superior Court Judge Steven Steward set bail at $35,000, Public Defender's office appointed; OR bail on 9/2; preliminary hearing on 9/8.
