HCSO & DA arrest two in Mckinleyville today for bribery of a witness

HCSO Lt. Jesse Taylor just issued a press release about the arrests of 18 year old Iren James Severe and 22 year old Desiree Alexis Doan in McKinleyville today.

Bribery of a witness is one of the charges.

Doan was arrested for PC 137(a) bribery of a witness, PC 136.1(a)(2) dissuading or intimidating a witness or victim and PC 182(a)(1) criminal conspiracy.

Severe was  arrested for PC 137(a), PC 136.1(a)(2), PC 182(a)(1), HS 11378 possession of meth and HS 11370.1(a) possession of controlled substance while armed with a firearm.

I contacted Lt. Taylor to see if both were booked on no bail status which often law enforcement requests on Ramey warrants. He is checking. In the meantime, I looked. Severe posted bond. Doan is out of custody on "general release."
