Suspect's hankering for Panda Express leads him right to officers looking for him and an arrest

 

This video by Michael Garcia was shared by the Monrovia Police Department was shared two days ago and some national media shared it; for those who have not seen it, here's is the text and two screenshots where the suspect's hankering for Panda Express gets him arrested. 

"Third Time’s the Charm 🍜😂

Two failed attempts. Two times officers tried to arrest a wanted man while he was out walking. Both times, the wanted man ran onto the freeway to escape the officers.

So they changed tactics.

On attempt #3, officers were taking a well deserved Panda Express break when, out of nowhere, the wanted man walked right up to them. 

At this point, we’re not sure if it was good police work, bad timing, or the irresistible smell of chow mein.

Either way, an arrest was made. 

And don’t worry the officers went back for their food and finished their chow mein. Priorities. 🍜"
