"Color photo of a bloody part with a cut wound" introduced as exhibit at Travis Watson's preliminary hearing

 


Murder suspect Travis Watson's preliminary hearing finally proceeded this week on 7/6 and 7/10 before Humboldt Superior Judge Lawrence Killoran. It continues to Day 3 on 7/10.

HCSO Russell Hurley, Cole Kane, Shirley Yanez, HCSO Forensic Specialist Andrew Campbell and HCSO Investigator Jennifer Taylor testified on July 6.  Defense Exhibit A entered into evidence was described in court minutes as a "color photo of a bloody body part with a cut wound."

Day 2 Investigator Taylor was the only one to testify. She will retake the stand on Friday.

Senior Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees is the prosecutor on the case. Deputy Conflict Counsel Owen Tipps is Watson's attorney.
