Judge Van Dyke grants Redwood Teen Challenge motion to compel, attorney fees in wrongful death lawsuit

 

Still no ruling on the demurrer in wrongful death lawsuit filed against Redwood Teen Challenge.

On 7/9, Humboldt Superior Court Judge April Van Dyke granted the motion to compel filed by Redwood Teen Challenge and also granted $5,775 attorney fees related to time spent by Redwood Teen Challenge's attorney on that motion. The original request was for 9,000.

Trial setting is scheduled for 10/8/26.
