Jorden Sterling cuffed & remanded in court, picked up a new felony case, his mouthy, drama sidekick cried and acted in court

 

I have covered Jorden Sterling since 2018. These four screenshots are just some of the posts on my coverage of Jordo and mama Sterling's 2026 co-defendant case. There are too many posts to link to include from 2018. They can be accessed via the search feature on blog and Google.

Jordo is pro per. The charges being reduced to misdemeanors in the 2026 case have nothing to do with Jordo and are the result of having  California defense attorney Ms. Andrea Sullivan being appointed to represent mama.

On 7/7, after a much needed day off from the drama and criminals and Humboldt's  Jerry Springer wannabes that frequent Humboldt Superior Court, I went into the court clerk's office on I street.

I didn't even notice Jordo filing paperwork at the last minute again, hours before his cases on 7/8. As usual, his mouthy sidekick who has already emailed me, went off on me, harassing me while I am trying to work and creating a scene because she likes attention. I called her out in front of several people including court staff. She is not the only one in Humboldt to engage in tt behavior and thinks acting out, filing paperwork what seems like every day and wasting court's time is something braggable.

On 7/8 in CR2601548A Jorden Sterling and CR2601548B Melissa Sterling jury trial scheduled for 7/13 was confirmed. Jordo filed 

motion for return of property, motion to motion to compel discovery and motion to supress which is scheduled for 7/22.

On 7/8, in CR2502755B Jorden Sterling was

arraigned on information. He filed a motion to compel discovery and motion to dismiss which is also scheduled for 7/22 and this case is trailing the co-defendant 2026 jury trial. Readiness Conference in the 2025 case is on

8/18; jury trial on 8/31. Jorden Sterling's 

CR2401780 is trailing.

On 7/7, Jorden Sterling was arraigned in CR2602497. This is a new case filed on 6/23/26.

Humboldt Superior Court Judge Kaleb Cockrum denied Deputy DA Jessica Watson's request for remand. Another bad call and ruling from Judge Cockrum and harmful to public safety.

On 7/9 at his OR bail, Jorden Sterling was remanded into custody by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Lawrence Killoran. Deputy DA Rebecca Buckley-stein said Jorden Sterling didn't show up to probation for an interview so they could prepare a report on terms of supervised release. Pre trial in this new 2026 case is on 7/13; preliminary hearing on 7/17. 

Jordo was cuffed and remanded in court this afternoon. Jail records show booking and processing at 3:31 p.m.

I am going to see what happens on 7/13 to see whether I want to waste any more time on repeat offender Jordo and mama Sterling.

Jorden Sterling new 2026 case:
