On 8/2, I checked to see if the arraignment date for John Provolt's sex abuse had been fixed. I confirmed with the DA's office the same information that was in e court and that the matter was off calendar.
In e court, there was an arrest warrant issued on 8/1 which did not show up on the systems until 8/2. I confirmed that Provolt tried to surrender at the jail on 8/1 Thursday but because the warrant was not in the systems, he could not so now he will have to go back. Provolt was booked into jail on the arrest warrant on 8/3. He posted bond. On 8/15, arraignment date of 9/16 was finally entered in e court. On 9/16, Provolt was arraigned. Setting of preliminary hearing on 10/29.
