Christopher McCarthy arrested by EPD for repeatedly calling 911 with intent to harass

Christopher Lenn McCarthy was arrested by Eureka Police Department yesterday for PC 653x calling 911 with an intent to harass.

EPD PIO Laura Montagna told me, "Repeatedly calling 911 stating he had an emergency. Warned not to do that, then calling again several times."

McCarthy was booked on a misdemeanor charge and released on OR. A person convicted of a misdemeanor can face up to six months in jail and/or $1,000 in fines as well as any unnecessary emergency response costs.

Four criminal cases in Humboldt Superior court search come up for Christopher McCarthy. The 2005 case has different middle name. That 2005 case is for a Christopher Gordon McCarthy.
