What mother sends texts like this to her children, although John Provolt isn't a better candidate for custody

John Provolt made one smart decision. Hiring Ms. Andrea Sullivan. In addition to the plea deal in his criminal case, a filing and exhibits in his family law case on May 14, 2024 highlight the trauma his children are experiencing.

I am not defending John Provolt. His mother is Yurok Tribe Councilmember Sherri Provolt. John Provolt isn't exactly a better candidate for custody.

Earlier this month, I wrote about the resolution of John Provolt's criminal case and his plea for indecent exposure.

I did other coverage last month which included information on several tribal leaders. In those posts, I explained why I cannot cover Yurok tribal court and why I do not cover family law cases. Just like the Raymond Bacon incident and related issues, family law issues complicate any potential or actual criminal proceedings.

I am posting some complete pages and other redacted pages of a lengthy family law filing. There are many other exhibits that I read through. I checked based on issues raised by multiple people who wrote to me about John Provolt previously. The minor children are mentioned several times in so many documents that my choice was not to post anything or post some documents. This filing is exactly why I don't cover family law. Drama, allegations, selfishness and regardless of the ruling, the children suffer.

Ms. Sullivan takes on clients others others shy away from and whether it is a criminal case or a family law case, she puts in 200% to do investigation and present information so that her client is well represented. That is what a good attorney does. In this filing, she has presented a lot of evidence against Readon-Dowd.
