Received this inquiry a few minutes ago.
"Interesting there was a DTF arrest of 2 people in a bust of some sort May 5th at 11 am and no news report. One of the people arrested by DTF is a drug and alcohol councelor."
I followed up by asking which person out of the two arrests they claim is the drug and alcohol counselor. Both have been arrested before.
Winnop was the response. This was at 9 p.m.
I could not find any evidence that Winnop is a drug and alcohol counselor except for a 2018 reference about her being a "mentor" to other drug court clients.
These were the two arrests by Humboldt County Drug Task Force from the booking log on that date and time.
46 year old Jill Deanna Winnop was arrested by Humboldt County Drug Task Force force for PC 30305(a), HS 11352(b), HS 11352(a), HS 11351, HS11379(b), HS 11379(a) and HS11378. She posted bond.
40 year old Timothy Sampson Still was arrested for PC 30305(a), HS 11352(B), HS 11352(a), HS 11351 and HS 1137378. He also posted bond.
