Socorro Cervantes alleges sexual harassment by the man who is listed as a victim in one of her criminal cases and has a temporary restaining order against her

 

Criminal proceedings have been suspended in the2024 cases against former Humboldt Superior Court assistant operations manager Socorro Cervantes. Dr. Rassi's reports are due on 5/29. In a related civil case, a temporary restraining order has been granted against her. Cervantes requested a continuance in that case and the 5/17 hearing was continued to 6/21. One of the alleged victims in one of her criminal cases is William Puryear.

In her response filed on 5/17, Cervantes alleges sexual harassment by Puryear and claims Puryear referred to himself as a "dirty old man."
