Devon Hanson of Myers Flat booked for felony DUI, battery on officer, drugs and auto theft

 


According to jail staff, bail is $25,000. Devon Hanson attempted to flee the scene.

CHP Press Release:

On 5/11/2022, at approximately 1030 hours, a white Honda Accord driven by Devon Renee Hanson was traveling north on Par Avenue south of Briceland Road. Hanson turned the Honda to its left and collided into a speed limit caution sign, some bushes, and a fence. Hanson did not sustain any injuries from the crash and attempted to flee the scene shortly after. 

Officers arrived on scene with the assistance of neighbors who alerted authorities of the incident. Hanson was determined to be under the influence and was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol and possession of a stolen vehicle. Hanson was transported to Phelps General Community Hospital for medical clearance and then was subsequently booked into Humboldt County Jail. The collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol – Garberville Area.

Devon Renee Hanson was booked at the Humboldt County Jail on the following charges:
243(c) PC – Battery against an Officer.
10851(a) VC- Auto theft.
496(d) PC- Possession of stolen property.
148(a) PC – Delay or obstruct an Officer’s duty.
23152(a) VC – Felony DUI alcohol
23152(b) VC – Felony DUI over .08%
12500(a) VC – Unlicensed driver.
11364(a) H&S – Possession of drug paraphernalia.
11350(a) H&S – Possession of any controlled substance.
11377(a) H&S – Possession of controlled substance level III, IV, or V
