Two arrests by Eureka Police Department yesterday involving firearms.
Matthew David Esparza for PC 246.3., negligent discharge of a firearm.
Cody Bryan Wuillmier for PC459/461(b), VC10851(a), HS11350(a), HS11550(a), receiving stolen property, PC 25850(a), PC 23900 altering a fiream, PC 30305(a), PC 29800(a)(1) felon in possession of a firearm, HS11370.1(a). Wuillmier posted bond. Bail was $35 000 according to jail.
I covered Wuillmier in 2016. Previous posts including booking photo. Previous charges include drugs, carrying a loaded firearm in a public place and resisting arrest.
I did contact EPD Crime Analyst Brittany Powell to see if either is the suspect for the Cousins Street incident.
