I asked Deputy DA Rees if he would use his,"you don't bring a knife" line in his closing argument

 

How will jurors react to Gearold Sotolongo testifying? We will find out soon enough. I asked Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees if he would use a certain line in closing argument.  

If you read my blog regularly and remember certain high profile homicide cases Mr. Rees has successfully prosecuted, you will recognize the statement from other cases where there was a stabbing.

I asked Mr. Rees if he would say "You don't bring a knife to a fist fight." Mr. Rees said perhaps. He pointed out that in this case, it would be,"You don't bring a knife to a wrestling match."

If Deputy DA Jessica Watson gives the closing argument, will she use the same analogy?
