Deputy informs guy from Alaska dumping firewood is illegal and he has a warrant

At 1:35 p.m. today, loud man from Alaska came in to the courthouse and said a sheriff's deputy saw him dumping firewood and said it was illegal and told the guy he had a warrant.

Guy told the court clerk he is from Alaska and wants to set up a hearing and take care of the warrant. He rambled on about EPD, they are not HCSO and then said he has been here since he was 12 years old. Did not have a name of the deputy or the location where the firewood was dumped.

The court clerk patiently had to ask him questions to locate any information. Clerk checked his case and saw a bench warrant issued in August 2016 but it showed the warrant was not active in court system. The court clerk directed the man to HCSO on the ground floor to check  and see if there was a warrant in their system.
