Another case dismissed by the DA which should have been done two months ago

Another case dismissed. This time on the day of the preliminary examination for Trampus Danhauer. The People made the motion to dismiss. The case should have been dismissed two months ago.

Deputy District Attorney Shelly Small was present yesterday for the People. Deputy Public Defender Ben McLaughlin for Danhauer.

This comes as no surprise. On 12/16/22, the protective order was modified to peaceful contact and the defense motion was granted. The alleged victim, Ms. Gregory, stated her name in court and it is in the court minutes. Judge Lawrence Killoran granted her request to modify the protective order. For this hearing, Deputy District Attorney David Moutrie was present for the Peopl. Deputy Public Defender Wade Orbelian for Danhauer.

The alleged victim told the Court on November 12 she will not cooperate with the People to prosecute Danhauer.
