Board of Supervisors were discussing appointments of members at large and alternates for the new Cannabis micro grants and loan advisory committeewhen I stopped by briefly at today's Board of Supervisor's meeting. I was there for the vote.
Jon O'Connor was mentioned by Third District Supervisor Mike Wilson and his entrepreneurship. Fourth District Supervisor Virginia Bass mentioned that while she likes O'Connor there were multiple applicants from Papa and Barkley.
Hannah Joy was appointed as at large cannabis representative, got support from Supervisors. Her mentioning that she recuse herself frim any votes which presented a conflict of interest was mentioned as a plus.
Brian St. Clair and Thomas Handwerker are alternates.
Thomas Handwerker and Laura Lassetter were the only two candidates I saw present all morning and for the vote.
Richard Ames is the at large lateral business representative.
