Instead of his preliminary hearing today, Xandus Edgington entered a guilty plea to Count 2 possession of meth for sale. The plea to Count 2 is an open plea. He is required to register as a drug offender.
Count 1 transportation of a controlled substance was dismissed. He also admitted to a violation of probation in another 2019 case.
Sentencing is scheduled for August 16. Edgington has a total of 21 cases in the local court system.
