Townhouse Motel appeals  156,626.91 judgement from State Labor Commission

So far in the court system, Magan Natha, the owner of Townhouse Motel, Quality Inn and Super 8 has one case in his favor; one against him.  The third case isn't looking good for him.

Natha, is appealing a judgement from the Labor Commission that amounts to 156,626.91. In the screenshot below, you will see two amounts: $130, 143.41 and 26, 483.50. The amounts are split because the business went from being a sole proprietor to being incoporated.

There is a case management conference on 7/29/19 for Candice Knight vs Eureka Townhouse Hospitality. Natha's judgement from the Labor Commission involves wages.
There was no settlement on 6/21, according to court records.

Knight is represented by Michael Acosta. Natha by Vanessa Negrete.

Negrete was suspended in 2018 for failure to pay bar fees.

I emailed the Labor Commission for comment.
"Good morning Mr. Chiv,
Unfortunately the department does not comment on pending litigation.
Thank you, Amy, DIR Communications"

For purposes of this post which focuses on the appeal filed by Natha, I am not going to list every property he owns or if a co- owner is listed on certain properties such as  Townhouse Motel and Quality Inn. His son Alpesh Natha is involved with the family business and has been to court with him for Candice Knight vs Eureka Townhouse Hospitality. I have done extensive research and viewed documents in the court system, Assesors and Clerk Recorders office. I am not going to post every document.
