Deputy Public Defender Rosemary Deck scores another win. This case was originally charged with corporal injury to a spouse/cohabitant as a felony. After the preliminary hearing, it was reduced to a misdemeanor. The jury found the defendant not guilty.
The entire trial was 4 days. The jury deliberated for an hour. The prosecutor for the case was Deputy District Attorney Jessica Acosta.
