If you pay attention to the jail booking log, there are lot of arrests for DUIs in Humboldt.
Michelle Lise LaVallee arrested on bench warrant yesterday for VC23152(g), DUI and released on OR five hours later. On 02/11/2014, Michelle Lise Lavallee of Phillipsville was arrested for a DUI.
Since I have been covering courts, the leading contender for most DUIs is Eureka Natural Foods' Rick Littlefield with 5 DUIS. Littlefield got SWAP, blew off his commit to jail date and my attempt to get answers resulted in stonewalling.
Another case completely ignored by other local media. Linked my last three posts on Littlefielbelow.

I guess you actually have to run someone over for the courts to take it seriously; what a shame.
