Disorderly conduct results in assault on deputy and resisting arrest
On June 3, 2018, at about 2:30 a.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the Fourth Street entrance of the Humboldt County Courthouse for the report of a female subject causing a disturbance.
Sohum upskirting suspect jury trial confirmed, for now
Trial confirmation for Sohum upskirting David Nunez scheduled for May 29 continued to today. While the jury trial date of June 11 was confirmed, Nunez's attorney Mr. Neal Sanders said he may file a motion to continue.

The Public Defender filed a motion for a new trial in the Jon Goldberg case on June 1.
The defense motion alleges jury misconduct and prosecutorial misconduct.

Alleged child molestor Andrew Cunningham is still in custody
As of 10:32 a.m today, alleged child molestor Andrew Cunningham is still in custody. As of 12:26 Saturday, Cunningham was still in custody. As of 7:48 p.m. Friday, Cunningham had not bailed out.
He is housed in protective custody.
