Santa Cruz Sheriff's Office arrested a 15-year-old boy yesterday. The juvenile is charged with being one of the attackers in a brutal hammer assault of three teenage boys on Memorial Day.
He was booked into juvenile hall on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and robbery.
Several masked suspects entered a garage in the 100-block of Monte Vista Drive around 1:40 a.m. and assaulted three teenage boys with a hammer while two of them were sleeping.
