Starting Monday, live court calendars at the Courthouse will update every half an hour

The calendars went live before Monday. I was only able to get a quick. They are easier to read but unlike the paper calendar, only display portions of the day's calendar. Court by Zoom had a lot of technical difficulties, so lets see how this works in the next few weeks. When will e court access be available online? More people will use that then the fancy language translator tablets which sit idle except for people to "play around with" according to the sign at 421 I street

There have been some improvements made to the website such as courtrooms not calling calendars until 8:30 a.m. While this is helpful, not everyone has online access in a rural County or checks the website. A temporary sign near the entrance by the elevators or outside the information room for a few weeks would be helpful.

Beginning Monday, August 14, 2023, the Superior Court of California, County of Humboldt, will implement live calendars at the Courthouse and on their website, https://www.humboldt.courts.ca.gov/. These calendars will receive updates every 30 minutes, ensuring accurate representation of all publicly viewable scheduled events. 

The calendars will display the current business day’s schedule until 3:45 p.m., after which time the schedule for the next business day will be shown.

The calendar displays can be found on the 2nd Floor of the Courthouse and the Court Operations Lobby at 421 I Street. The web-based calendar is searchable and allows for filtering and sorting, greatly improving the ability to access and find relevant calendar information.
