Local tattoo artist Daniel Dozier was arraigned for murder yesterday. A detailed complaint with charges for the jury trial is in my last post. After the preliminary hearing, Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees had said the DA's office was going to charge Dozier with murder instead of voluntary suspect. Custodial status was also on calendar. Homicide victim is Mia Felder.
Dozier was remanded into custody yesterday. Bail was set at $500,000. He posted bond this afternoon. Trial setting is scheduled for 8/29.Ms. Andrea Sullivan is Dozier's attorney.
8/29: Trial confirmation is on 1/17/24; jury trial on 2/5/24.
1/17/24: Offers discussed. Defense motion to continue granted. 2/5 date vacated. Trial confirmation 4/30; jury trial 5/13.
