No sanctions against Kalin and looks like the coverage of the case is getting to Kreis and his buddies

In my August 1 post about today's hearing in former;Deputy Public Defender Rory Kalin's lawsuit against Judge Gregory Kreis, Public Defender Luke Brownfield and former Public Defender Marek Reavis, I wrote : "I covered the last hearing. By now, the ruling in these constant motions can just as easily be covered by court minutes. 

We know what the case is about, salvos have been fired by both sides. There is so much repetitive information at these hearings." I was right. I was also correct about saying "At this point, co-defendants Humboldt Public Luke Brownfield and former Public Defender Marek Reavis are just sitting back letting their buddy, the current Humboldt Presiding Judge do the heavy lifting."

No sanctions were awarded today as requested by Kreis. Hearing and some decisions continued to August 13. A rehash of what was discussed last time occurred. The courtroom was closed so I could cover it live. I was covering other hearings at the same time and got there few minutes later.

Based on Mr. Patrik Griego's defensive response at the last hearing and snarky three page response to Kalin's attorney filed August 1, it seems the attention on this case is getting to defendant Kreis and his buddies. Obviously defense is aware of coverage and comments on the Robing Room because they make digs about it. Does defense not believe the rulings by Kreis turned over on appeal because they don't suit their narrative? Defense has names several witnesses and depositions and instead of refuting the allegations, every defense motion is the same excuse and whining.

The latest claim by Kreis is he was unaware of Kalin's Jewish heritage. That's your best argument Mr. Griego and defendant Kreis?

Mr. Griego and Kreis want discovery protected. Mr. Griego uses "limited audience" which sounds like code words for we don't want the media and public to know what could come out about my client and his cronies. Kreis and Griego can hide behind legal mumbo jumbo all they want. Kalin's attorneys have been forthcoming. All Kreis has done is stall and make excuses.
