Aunna Sophia Bollman was arraigned today in one criminal case with 6 counts; three attempted terroristic threats and three statute not in table. Alleged victims include Humboldt Sheriff William Honsal, First District Supervisor Rex Bohn and former DA Maggie Fleming. She was also arraigned on the criminal case with alleged victims DA Investigator Martin Morris, Second District Supervisor Michelle Bushnell, Fortuna Police Department and Chris Jennings. I was the only reporter at arraignment this afternoon.
In addition to the exclusive information and exclusive court documents in my previous posts, I have added more court documents in Bollman's civil workplace restraining order requested by the County. An attachment lists Humboldt Board of Supervisors, County Counsel and attorneys and staff from the Humboldt County District Attorney's office.
Second District Supervisor Michelle Bushnell was in court for the arraignment. Bollman was denied release today. Bail is $25,000 in one case; $5,000 in another. OR/bail on August 9; trial confirmation on August 23 and jury trial on August 28. Conflict Counsel's office was appointed.
Bollman wants to go home and finish her studies towards her doctorate in psychology. That may happen at her OR/bail depending on probation's supervised release. She seemed coherent in court and there was an older man who came to see her.
Deputy District Attorney Jessica Acosta said, "People object to release. Although these are misdemeanors, these are very serious threats and specific threats. She said she would go to Sheriff Honsal's house, kill his wife and kids. She called law enforcement hundreds of times and repeated threats."
Judge Steven Steward "declined to release her at this time. Between the two cases, there are charges of concern."
It is not just officials , some of her neighbors have expressed concerns for their safety to me.
