There was a rally yesterday evening outside the courthouse. Family members and friends of the victims in the Bear River homicide want convicted murderer Mauricio Johnson's alleged accomplices to be held accountable.
Jewel Frank told me this morning, "Rally-Justice for Margarett Moon was good. I handed a few brochures to Rex Bohn. Handed a brochure to David Celli, Esq. They mentioned, 'I will talk with Maggie'."
Mr. Celli is a Deputy Public Defender. He did not represent Maurico Johnson and he is not the lawyer for Melissa Johnson or Von Keener.
"I am praying that Maggie Fleming Esq. cares about the Jane & John Doe's children and goes out with a bang, impacting innocent children's lives with her ethical standards of values, as she practices law. Charging all accomplices and applying appropriate charges to Melissa & Von, to increase safe communities!"
Melissa Johnson, Mauricio Johnson's mother, almost resolved her case but it has been continued twice. Melissa Johnson's attorney is Ms. Kathleen Bryson. Convicted sex offender Keener has a record. His lawyer is Mr. Joe Judge.
Melissa Johnson and Keener are charged with unlawfully harboring, concealing, aiding Mauricio Johnson with intent that he may avoid arrest, trial, conviction and punishment for homicide
Setting for the preliminary hearing for both is scheduled for 5/10/22.
