Motion to supress evidence from federal search warrant filed in Ray Christie's Humboldt Superior Court case

Today, there were two documents filed in Humboldt Superior Court for the hearing scheduled in Ray Christie's criminal case. One was a declaration by Mr. Nathaniel Wright; the other is a motion to suppress evidence obtained in relation to federal search warrant and motion in limine to supress that evidence.

The filings are slightly different but if you read yesterday's post, you basically have all the information . I have posted some pages from the  declaration and motion.

There is a hearing on motions in limine on November 15 in Humboldt Superior Court. Deputy District Attorney Steven Steward was notified of the filings today. He and Mr. Richmond have been meeting and conferring as Judge Wilson said they should and they spoke at length today.

Knowing how Humboldt Superior Court works, Judge Wilson will say he just got this; he needs time to review the documents. Mr. Steward will say that he just got the documents, he needs time to respond.  Or the DA will try the old trick their office does and say the filings should not be accepted. So most likely there will end up being a continuance.

A while back I reported that Judge Wilson was going to be gone from November 22 and returning sometime after the first of the year. Unless that has changed, how will this impact the November 30 hearing?
