I have spoken to Ray Christie about his first raid. Since there is a federal investigation and a retrial, I will not go into details about what he told me.
Let's just say some of what I read in this declaration sounded familiar. Will other issues come up in a retrial?
Ray Christie filed a declaration in his name. What he has shared will resonate with others. Many have shared with me experiences of raids done by local law enforcement with specific names of Judges, deputies and investigators but in typical Humboldt fashion are fearful of retribution and win't go public.
Ray Christie has often told me that he is fighting so hard because he does not want others to go through what he is experiencing. In this country, we have a constitution, laws and rights. Doesn't do a whole lot if they are not applied. Even TV shows depict the reality that courts do not equal justice.
