Ruling on the motion to considate Richard Dean's cases was scheduled this morning; it was continued to March 28.
Dean's presence was waived by Deputy Public Defender Ben McLaughlin. He told Judge Christopher Wilson that he will file an opposition in Friday as well as a motion to continue.
One of the reasons for the motion to continue is that in addition to a retained expert, defense recently found a forensic pathologist.
Judge Wilson told Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads, she could file a supplemental pleading to Mr. McLaughlin's opposition to the motion to considate cases.
Trial confirmation is scheduled April 4 and jury trial for April 22.
The case is being prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads. Dean is represented by Deputy Public Defender Ben McLaughlin.
