Probation, 7 years 8 months is defense request for Marci Kitchen

Judge Kaleb Cockrum went over the letters he had received, statement of mitigation from Defense, statement of aggravation from Prosecution.

Defense brought up PC 654 that I wrote about yesterday. "If Court does not grant probation," said Ms. Meagan O'Connell, the defense in their initial statement argued for  7 years, 8 months.

Prosecution is asking for 9 years and 8 months.

These are just initial arguments.

This is not the final decision. After victim impact statements, attorneys will have a chance at a final statement and Marci Kitchen has to yet make her statement.
