Is having a third Judge hear the DA's argument on the Ariel Sosa motions have a different result?

Motion to increase bail and  motion to examine source of bail for Ariel Arguelles Sosa  as well as motion to amend the complaint for both Ariel and Abdiel Sosa was continued to September 24.

It was scheduled today in front of Judge Christopher Wilson who indicated what his ruling would be on all three motions.

Based on the documents filed by the prosecution and defense, Judge Wilson said he would grant the motion to amend the complaint. Judge Wilson denied the motion to increase bail and examine source of bail, agreeing with Ariel Sosa's attorney Mr. Russ Clanton that Ariel Sosa had appeared in court.

Judge Wilson denied the two motions without prejudice, reserving the right to revisit the issues after the preliminary hearing.

Deputy Trent Timm requested an evidentiary hearing on the motions for bail and that was sent to Courtroom 2 to be heard by Judge Kaleb Cockrum.

Abdiel Sosa Parras was not in court again, this week. Mr. Clanton said he would check with Mr. David Celli why. Abdiel Sosa Parras was not in court. As Judge Wilson pointed out, Abdiel Parras had notice for today's hearing.

I will post the outcome tomorrow after the evidentiary hearing has concluded but I am not covering the proceedings in detail.

An opposition to all three motions was filed by the defense on 9/20. The post from last hearing is linked below and has background.
