Judge Charles Marson's temporary ruling is now a permanent order. It allows Brooke Adams, who attends kindergarten in Santa Rosa, to bring a cannabis-based oil to school. Adams uses that oil to treat seizures caused by a rare form of epilepsy.
The Rincon Valley Union School District wanted to ban the ointment from the school because it contains the active ingredient in marijuana.
