Former Miss Hoopa's jury trial confirmed for September 17

Trial confirmation was scheduled this morning for former Miss Hoopa, Kayla Brown's alleged sexual abuse case on September 10. Jury trial for September 17 confirmed. Time estimate revised to 15 court days, instead of 21 days.


The case is being prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer. Brown is represented by Deputy Public Defender Ben McLaughlin.
