(Cory Fisher)
The preliminary hearing for former correctional officer Cory Fisher resumed this morning with EPD Senior Detective Ron Harpham taking the stand.
Angela Fisher told Det. Harpham that initially, "she didn't have the strength to come out in public."
The information during cross examination of Detective Harpham by Deputy Conflict Counsel David Lee focused a lot on the family law case and whether Angela Fisher knew or suspected any molestation before June 2017.
While that information and the redirect maybe important during a jury trial, what is relevant today is if the People can prove via their evidence the charges and if Fisher is held to answer after the preliminary hearing. I will update this post as time permits.
Mr. Lee brought a previous camping trip incident but no evidence to back that information was offered.
Three years prior to the molestation allegations, Angela Fisher and Cory Fisher were estranged and slept in separate rooms.
