Request to appoint special master in Cory Fisher's alleged molestation case withdrawn by defense

Conflict Counsel requested a hearing appointment of attorney/Special Master in former correctional deputy Cory Fisher's case. It was dropped from calendar without prejudice after Deputy Conflict Counsel David Lee told Judge Christopher Wilson, "We thought we might need a special master. After speaking with my client, we will revisit, if necessary."

Fisher is charged with 14 counts of alleged sexual abuse and inappropriate behavior involving six minor male victims. 10 felony counts and four misdemeanors.

"The State Bar of California is responsible for maintaining a list of attorneys qualified to serve as a "Special Master" to accompany peace officers in conducting searches for documentary evidence under the control of attorneys, physicians, psychotherapists and clergy members. (Penal Code Section 1524)"

Fisher also faces pending litigation from four inmates.
