Criminal proceedings reinstated for Trevor Gillihan who appears in court in safety zone attire; green jacket and sandals

Trevor Gillihan appeared in court today in a green jacket wrapped around him, no orange jumpsuit, bare legs visible and sandals.

This is usually attire for the safety zone. Inmates placed in that zone for their own safety. It could be someone on sucide watch, for example.

Dr. Ramirez's report was received and criminal proceedings were reinstated after Gillihan was found competent to stand trial.

Defense asked for dates to be set on a "time not waived basis." Jury trial is September 17. Trial confirmation is September 11.

"I need you to cooperate with everyone," said Judge Wilson. He told Gillihan to listen to his attorney, Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O'Connell.

Deputy District Attorney Joel Buckingham is prosecuting the case.

These are all of Gillihan's cases.
