Patrick Delaney is the only inmate arrested by Fortuna PD and refused by medical yesterday

The only inmate arrested yesterday by FOPD and refused by medical was Patrick Delaney. He was arrested for allegedly fleeing from officers.

Statement from HCSO PIO Samantha Karges:

"At about 8:45 p.m. August 14, deputies responded to the Bear River Rancheria for the report of an attempted child abduction of a teenager. Upon further investigation, it appears no physical attempt to abduct the minor occurred. Rather, the suspect reportedly drove alongside the minor on Brenard Rd. and demanded that the minor get in the car. The minor refused and was able to get help."

"The person we believe responsible was arrested on unrelated charges from another agency. We are still investigating and have not formally charged anyone in relation to this case."

A google search indicates Delaney as a guest artist in 2015 Arts Alive.
