Preliminary hearing for murder suspect Richard Dean vacated



Intervention was scheduled for murder suspect Richard Dean on August 22. It was continued to August 23. Preliminary scheduled for August 27 was vacated. Setting is scheduled for August 29.

Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads is going to be starting an  jury trial next week. The case involves a minor and the charges include alleged sexual abuse. She is not available for the preliminary hearing. Ms. Eads also said that she has also had "productive conversations" with Deputy Public Defender Ben McLaughlin recently about "moving this case forward."
