A Facebook group, Justice for FAITH Tsarnas and KIYA Kitchen (photo above includes some of the protestors outside the Courthouse on August 20) left the following statement on Humboldt County on Alert.
"Sept. 4th beginning @ 8 a.m. we will be protesting for Justice for Faith & Kiya at the Humboldt County Courthouse. Please attend if you are able, it’s time our community comes together and protest the leniency that our Courts have shown to Marci Kitchen and the others involved in this cowardly act that took both these young girls lives."
They are also asking people to write to Judge Kaleb Cockrum.

California Courts, Judges, all Democrats! Couldn't give a hoot what you're wanting, what we all WANT! We want Justice! Unfortunately Justice in California means a settlement, and when both sides in a settlement are unhappy that's considered a good settlement. Until we have regime change in this socialist State it'll stay that way. What's more important to you? Safe drug free streets or every persons right to do whatever the hell they want regardless of the consequences to everyone around them. If you choose the latter you're the problem.
